Seabrook Caravan Park

Static and touring pitches. Full in July.

Seabrook Caravan Park is a holiday park on the edge of the town. It has static caravans, pitches for touring caravans, a site office and shared washing facilities.

The park is popular with summer visitors and is full in July, when pitches should be booked well ahead. Out of season it is all but empty. Mr Stan Whitaker looks after the site and can be found at the office or, failing that, somewhere on the park.

Tide tables and the bus timetable are displayed at the site office. Gas bottles can be exchanged there. Dogs are welcome on leads, and quiet is requested after ten at night.

In winter the site office is opened by arrangement.

What the locals say

“In July you can’t get a pitch. In January you could have your pick, and Stan would ask what you wanted it for.”
