Marrow class heads flower show schedule

The schedule for August is out. Growers are reminded that a show marrow is not grown in a hurry.

A marrow of the size the judges will be looking for in August.

The schedule for this year’s Seabrook Flower Show is now available from the Town Hall and from Seabrook News and Post on the High Street. The marrow class is unchanged. Each exhibitor may enter one marrow, which must be of the exhibitor’s own growing. The heaviest wins. Growers are reminded that a marrow of show size is not grown in a hurry. Seed should be sown under glass in April and planted out when the frosts are over. Entries close on the Wednesday before the show.
